Four libraries and one university from Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania created a strategic partnership to educate librarians on medical and health information literacy. This methodological material has been elaborated through an innovative multifaceted perspective, integrating the fields of expertise of each partner. The aim of the methodological material is to give recommendations to librarians and information specialists who will lead theoretical and practical classes for librarians and information specialists in “Medical Information Literacy”. The materials offered in the book will be useful for all librarians and information specialists who interact on a daily basis with users who need medical or health information. The content is organized into chapters and subsections to discover the principles of how and where to look for medical and health information. The authors of the e-book offer specific recommendations and information to help prepare for the learning process, the learning content, which is grouped into three modules and the most commonly used terminology. The development of the material is supported by the Erasmus + program KA204 - Strategic Partnerships for adult education.
